The Saints, who won the decider by 50 points, will unfurl their premiership flag with only two players from the side - youngsters Aidan Johnson and Eddy Ziebarth – having officially moved on.

They have joined Lavington and Albury respectively.

Officials are yet to decide if the match will be played at Brocklesby or Burrumbuttock.

Jindera has had a much tougher off-season with new coach Andrew Wilson losing Trent Castles, Ben Dower, Will King, Danny Middleton, Dylan Pettingill and Connor Clayton.

Brock-Burrum and Jindera face difficult seeded draws, playing Culcairn, Holbrook, Osborne and Henty in the opening five rounds.

The Lions and Swampies have picked up arguably the biggest names over the off-season with Adam Prior and Dan Leslie switching from Lavington and North Albury respectively.

Holbrook has a much tougher draw than last season after charging into the top four in Matt Sharp's first season as coach.

The season starts on April 6, with an Easter bye on April 20.

Inter-league is set down for May 20 with officials yet to decide who they will be playing.

While it has been speculated that Hume will be taking on Farrer, league general manager Dalton Wegener said a decision was yet to be made.

The Tallangatta league shapes as another potential opponent.

“We have decided that we want to play inter-league but it hasn’t really been discussed who against,” Wegener said.

Hume thrashed Ovens and King at Howlong last year and were too strong for the TDFL at Sandy Creek in 2017 under coach Brent Piltz.

A general bye will be held on July 13.

The grand final has been scheduled for Saturday, September 21, which is a day before the Ovens and Murray decider.
