Culcairn batted first and with Matt Relf and Steve Brand both making 41, posted a respectable 6-166.
Nathan IAnson was best of bowlers with 2-31.
The Rand reply was clinical and brisk with the Pigeons running down the total with 13 overs to spare in a very impressive showing.
Mark Kreutzberger was in great form finishing unbeaten on 87, while Will Swift continued his great form with 58 no.
Norm Barlow took the only two wickets for the Lions.

OSBORNE were made to work hard for its six wicket win over TRYC at Osborne, with Nick Perryman leading the way with the bat and Billy Glanville with the ball.
Perryman steered the side home with a superb 70 no in the chase of TRYC 7-149, while Glanville picked up five wickets.
TRYC innings promised a lot more with Todd Hannam 44 and Jack Driscoll 54 getting the score to 1-111 before Glanville turned the game.
Best of the TRYC bowlers were Aiden Ridley 0/18 off his eight, while HDCA representative bowler Ryan Kirkwood bowled without luck taking 1-26.

WALBUNDRIE and Henty played out a close encounter at the Walbundrie Sportsground, with the home side winning by just two wickets.
Henty posted 7-145 with seven batsmen making double figures but none converting with Shannon Terlich the best with 24.
Damian Wardius, 2-27, led a very accurate attack with Alex McMaster and Roy Elliot both taking 1-14 in excellent spells.
Walbundrie replied in quick fashion, but as the runs flowed quickly so did the wickets with Jarrod Millar (43) and Jarrod Miller (35) doing the damage.
The home got home eight wickets down with ten overs to spare.
Brayden Pantling and Chris Spicer both took three wickets each for Henty.

WALLA proved far too strong for Lockhart winning comfortably by eight wickets in another short afternoon at Lockhart.
Lockhart after winning the toss and batting were knocked over for just 53 in the twenty third over, with over a quarter of its runs coming from wides and no balls.
Tommy Simmons was outstanding for Walla taking 3-10 off seven overs and included four maidens.
Mark Taylor and Jaxon Lezius both took two wickets.
The Hoppers chased the runs down in just 16 overs with Lezius completing a good game by finishing 32 no.
