The Ball was officially opened by Lockhart Shire Deputy Mayor Greg Verdon,
A Grant was given to the committee by Lockhart Shire Council to host the event.
People are still impressed with the Pleasant Hills Hall which was built in 1912 and remains virtually untouched, the stage wall has a magnificent mural and still has the original theatre type seats.
An “old fashioned” supper was enjoyed by everyone especially the Pleasant Hills Sausage Rolls which are a must at any Military function held at the Hall.
It was a great social event with people dancing well into the the night with music from The Hoffmans
