Sponsors of the event were Bendigo Bank [Henty], Greater Hume Shire Council,Riverina Water, Local Land Services Riverina and Rural Bank

The day began with Henty shop’s having a Market Day, with lots of bargains to be had.

Sladen Street was closed at noon in preparation of the festivities.

1-30 pm The Craft Shop and Railway Precinct was officially opened  and the Pop-Up Market’s began trading.  Free rides for the children started  to operate. 

The new Henty Fire and Rescue Station in Allan Street was officially opened by Greg Aplin and a number of awards were given to officers in the region.

Greater Hume Shire Council’s Greg Blackie gave an address on the Street Scape followed by John Ellis giving an address on the 20^th celebration of the Bendigo Bank which was the first community bank in N.S.W. and presenting awards to Sharon Gardiner for 20 years service and Jan Wheeler on her retirement from the bank.

The 20^th celebration cake was cut by Robert Musgrove and Sharon Gardiner

Poems were read and performances were given by Henty Public School and St. Paul’s Lutheran School.

Wobbly Boot provided music.

 A spectacular Fire Works display was a highlight for many people.
