They are looking for examples of artistic creations for display and sale. Volunteers are also being sought and if you are interested, please contact: Gwen Bullock or Bernard Clark. During the Streetscape celebrations this Friday, the gallery will be open from 10am till 9pm.
Dignitaries from our Greater Hume Council, State Rail and Bendigo Bank will be present at the Street Celebrations. However, it will be the fire stations opening that the many service organisations will be present, from around the state and mostly in dress uniforms.
This sight alone should be worth attending the official proceedings.
A thank you to our council for cleaning our Main Street footpaths prior to Friday’s celebrations.

BY NOW all of Henty will be aware that the closure of the Henty Newsagency has not meant the death of this business with the Post Office taking up the challenge of providing this service.
Not all services are available, but in time, these may come.
The Post Office will have extended hours to keep the tradition of early morning papers available. Another positive move for Henty.
