The Brookers defeated last year’s Brocklesby DCA premiers by eight wickets, after inflicting the same result in round one against Osborne the Holbrook DCA premiers from 2017/18.
Rand, after winning the toss and batting, started brilliantly with Mark Kreutzberger (27) and Brayden Ralston (33) putting on a 70-run opening stand.
The introduction of left arm spinner William Heriot into the attack turned the game on its head, with Heriot bamboozling the Pigeon bats to see them collapse to 7-92.
Bryce Swift resurrected the innings to some extent with (27). Heriot finished with 4-20 off eight overs.
Corey McCarthy and Cooper Walsh both took two wickets.
Chasing 135 for victory Holbrook did it in style losing just two wickets and having seven overs to spare when the winning runs were scored.
Coby Ross batted through the innings to score an unbeaten 53 after putting on 44 with McCarthy for the opening stand.
Andrew Mackinlay followed up his first round form with a hard hitting 43 that included a towering six over long on and seven boundaries.

WALBUNDRIE also made it two from two with a comfortable win over Lockhart in a high scoring encounter at Walbundrie.
Lockhart won the toss and batted itself into a competitive situation compiling a very respectable 188, being bowled out in 36 overs.
Andrew Martin top scored for the Demons (44), with good support from Clint Renner (22), Connor Widdup (22), and Ryan Argus (20).
Damian Wardius with 3-43 topped the wicket haul for Walbundrie, with great support from Jarrod Miller, Jeremy Duck and Mason Collins who all took two wickets.
The Walbundrie reply was a quick and positive on for the home side with former Hillston star all rounder Alex McMaster smashing an unbeaten 97.
Collins (38) and Miller (29 no) both completed good all round games as the impressive Tigers stake claims for early premiership favouritism.
Renner was the pick of the Lockhart bowlers claiming the only two wickets to fall as Walbundrie won with nine overs left.

OSBORNE bounced back in emphatic fashion against Burrumbuttock, winning also by eight wickets after routing Burrumbuttock at Osborne.
Burrumbuttock were very undermanned with half a dozen regulars unavailable forcing them to play a very young and inexperienced side.
The visitors were bowled out for just 54 in 27 overs, with Nick Perryman the star taking 5-10 off five overs.
Trent IAnson top scored with (15).
Osborne had little trouble running down the total with Ed Perryman (39 no) doing the damage, as the target was reached in 15 overs.

CULCAIRN also remain unbeaten after two rounds with a 30-run win over TRYC at Culcairn Sportsground in a low scoring encounter.
The Lions after batting first would have been disappointed with its total of 126, but as things panned out it was well and truly enough.
No batsman in either side scored above 23 as the bowlers from both sides controlled the game throughout.
Brett Starick (23) top scored for Culcairn with great support from young 13-year-old Mitch Way who made (22).
Way and veteran Dai Jenkins (13 no) added a very valuable 28 for the last stand that really turned the match back in favor of the Lions.
Jayden Hibberson with 3-34 and Graham Oaks 3-15 took the most wickets, but it was Oscar Willis 1-13 off eight overs who really impressed.
The two Blues response started very well and at 1-59 they were well on track to chase down the Lions score before they collapsed to be 5-64 and finally all out 96.
Vince Chaffey was superb taking 3-10 in a hostile spell, while Jenkins 1-10 and Mitch Godde 2-18 backed up Chaffey superbly.

WALLA showed it could be a real finals contender this year by surprising Henty with a seven wicket win at Henty.
A lively opening spell from Tom Simmons and Mark Taylor put the Swampies on the back foot and never really recovered to be dismissed for 103.
Simmons and Taylor both took three wickets each, while Walter Paech 2-1, Mitch Lauritzen and Joel Merkel both bowled economically.
Braeden Pantling top scored with 26 for Henty.
A brilliant catch by Merkel to dismiss Bailey Martin set the tone for the Walla fielding and bowling.
Chris Spicer claimed two early wickets to give the Swampies a bit of hope, but with Simon Odewhan (46 no) and Taylor (44 no) they coasted home with a whopping 20 overs to spare.
