IT WAS a small field of golfers at the Culcairn Golf Club last week with quite a number of others away for the weekend.
The winner of the day was Clayton Scott with 41 stableford points and the runner-up was Rino Feltrin with 39.
Third place went to Wayne Bodycott on 37 and then it was John Scott on 34.
Well done to Clayton who is continuing to improve and reduce his handicap.
Next Sunday, October 14 there will NOT be a local competition of golf as it is the start of the Murray District Golf Association Handicap Pennant, and this first round will be played at Culcairn Golf Club.
Note that Pool 1 commences at 10am, and Pool 2 at 10.3 am.
Culcairn teams will have the bye as we are hosting this round.
HENTY LADIES GOLF
LAST Thursday only three ladies played nine holes.
The NTP went to Heather Beattie and Heather won the nine holes too.
Jane Yates tried out her new clubs and the driver did the right thing on the fairways but the Irons on the dam need some practice.
From now on there will be only nine holes of golf so see you all at 9am for a 9.30am hit off.
