North Albury product Anthony Miles and former Lavington player Michael Gibbons each polled 19 votes to take home the league’s top honour.
Miles has battled to break into AFL premier Richmond’s senior team this season but his form at VFL level couldn’t be questioned.
It is believed the Howlong junior has already met with the Gold Coast Suns about continuing his AFL career at a third club having also spent time at GWS.
For Gibbons, it was his second Liston Medal with Williamstown after saluting in 2016.
The ball magnet originally joined Lavington from Riverina club Coolamon.
Both players are former Murray Bushrangers.
