Dyna Elias drew the blue box for his heat win last week, and the only thing Bosman wanted was not to draw out too wide.
“He’s not real quick early but he’s a really good field dog,” Bosman said.
“He will probably sit on the leaders as there is a bit of pace inside him.
“I was happy with one, two, three or four, I just didn’t want to be out wide where you have to do a lot of work.”
Bosman is just looking for some luck coming into that first corner.
“He is probably where he wants to be,” he said.
“If they beat him out he will lob on their heels and he is really strong.
“It is probably his chance and if he gets around that first turn and is where he wants to be then he will give them something to think about that is for sure.”
In a twist, all three heat winners have drawn to start out of the same box they won from on Friday night.
Ferrero Miss will start from five with littermate Spring Jazz in seven.
Lorraine Roy came up with the box one with Gunshot Ridge, but drew wide with her others two runners, Charlie’s Chance (six) and Barbie’s Chance (eight).
Michael Clayton’s Sunset Warrior has the two while Strickland has drawn three.
Bosman is excited to have a runner in the region’s biggest race.
“For bloke in my situation, I only have a handful and I;m certainly not up there with the big boys, to get into your own cup is a big thrill,” he said.
Bosman also has Manticore in the Butch Pertzel final.
However he expects Dana Ali the one to chase down after a blistering heats in the heats.
“If she repeats what she did in the heat then no one is going to top that,” Bosman said.
“He is just coming into his own now and I reckon he is ready to peak on his run.
“Hopefully she already has but he’s a big, bullocking dog and will be up there charging for the lead.
“Hopefully we jumps a bit better this week as he is usually a good beginner but hasn’t been jumping in his last couple.”
