Fortune was on the side of Lockhart this week even though on the day the wind was the clear winner on the day.
Lockhart came away with a victory to set the scene for a couple of beverages enjoyed by the players after the game especially one of our bowlers who really enjoyed himself.
Final scores were Lockhart 65 Rules (2) 50 for a 10-0 victory.
Steve Johnston won 21-9, Jason Healy won 20-18 and Bruce Rayner won 24-23.
After round 10 the Grade 6 Pennant ladder finished as follows: 1st Yerong Creek 82, 2nd Rules (1) 69.5 and 3rd Lockhart 58.
The district pennant finals will be played on Sunday, April 29.
The Grade 6 final will be played between another shire club Yerong Creek versus Rules Club (1).
In the Grade 7 finals our own greenkeeper Peter Jenkinson who now plays for Wagga RSL will be doing battle against Yerong Creek, so good luck to Jenko.

On Sunday Lockhart had two teams playing in the district president triples at the Rules Club.
The team of Ken Smith, Jim Quee & Jason Healy were defeated 26-17 by Junee & the team of Scott Conlon (sub for Jesse Shilo), Max Montgomery and Bruce Rayner won 21-14 against The Rock.
This team now travels to Junee next Sunday morning to play the semi-final against a team from the Rules Club with the game commencing at 9.30am for roll-up.
The final of the major singles will be played on Sunday, May 6 between Shane Lenon and Bruce Rayner and the final of the Major Pairs will be played on Saturday, April 28 between Max Montgomery and Barry Love versus Jesse Shilo and Steve Johnstone. Both matches to commence at approximately 1pm.
The date has been changed because of the district pennant finals.
The end of season pennant windup will be held on Saturday, April 28 after the pairs final.
Next Sunday, April 22 the club will be holding its annual president and diggers day with a game of bowls between all district clubs and a Wagga district team.
