A DATE has been set for the unveiling of the Headlie Taylor Sculpture, and the workshop to follow, with artist Paul Smit from Melbourne. The unveiling will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 2pm, at the front of the museum on the Olympic Highway. The following day, September 13, Mr Smit will be conducting a practical workshop in Henty in a venue to be advised.

JUNIOR Landcare Day at the Five Ways TSR was held last Wednesday, where years 4 to 6 attended an environmental day. In the evening, the organisers and presenters invited all attendees to attend guided walks with the guest speakers. A barbecue completed the evening.

HENTY Public School students Jonathon Coe, Sam Scott and Ryder Corrigan attended the recent Eastern Riverina AFL trials. The students were not selected for the team; however, Ryder received the coach’s award.
Last Tuesday Ashytn Quee, Safi Farrell-O’Reilly and Hannah Male attended the Southern Riverina netball trials at the Henty netball courts with Ashtyn and Hannah going onto Riverina sections.
The Cross Country results are in for event held at the Henty Sports Ground last Thursday.

HENTY Public School raised $152 from students and families for Shave for a Cure, where Daniel Haines shaved his hair off to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.
