Osborne took out its first senior premiership in Division One and won both junior grades to complete a wonderful season.
The association experienced a highly successful representative season with plenty of silverware coming their way.
In February, they won both the Des Kennedy Memorial Shield and the historic and prestigious O’Farrell Cup.
The Kennedy Shield was again a close encounter against Brocklesby DCA with Holbrook DCA winning a low scoring match at Holbrook by one run.
Best was to come though, when Holbrook travelled to Wagga and upset the giants of Riverina cricket by three wickets in a victory for the ages.
A tenacious bowling and fielding performance restricted Wagga to 9/215, in which Holbrook chased down with 10 balls to spare.
For the first time since the 1920s the prestigious O’Farrell Cup will reside the winter in the Holbrook DCA proudly displayed by local clubs.
The HDCA also adopted the new Australian Cricket Junior Pathway at under 12 age group, with the Stage 2 format a huge success.
Seven teams enjoyed the changes to playing conditions with a shortened pitch, less players on the field and more activity for all participants.
The HDCA was one of the 80 per cent of associations across NSW that adopted the new changes as part of the staged process into senior cricket.

Division One most valuable player (MVP) award was shared on 17 votes by Mark White (Henty) and Todd Hannam (TRYC), with Ed Perryman (Osborne) one vote behind.

The final award for the year was the president’s trophy awarded to a person who has contributed to the association in that season.
Osborne stalwart Darren Howard was a popular winner for his wonderful dedication to representative cricket and the Osborne cricket club.
Howard was captain of the famous O’Farrell Cup winning team and a major player in the Osborne Division One premiership success.
