It was a great game with Lockhart jumping out of the gates with team of Bruce Rayner, Barry Love, Scott Chandler and Jesse Shilo jumping to an unassailable lead of 20-1 after 13 ends.
The other two rinks skipped by Shane Lenon and Jason Healy had closer games but in the end Lockhart came away with an impressive 80-49 10-0 victory with the winning rinks of Shane Lenon winning 23-18, Jason Healy 24-21 and Bruce Rayner 33-10.
After round six the Grade 6 pennant ladder stands as follows: 1st Yerong Creek 54.5, 2nd Lockhart 38.5 and 3rd Rules (1) 38.5. Next week we are at home to Wagga Rules (1) for round 7.

THE final round of Business House Bowls continued last week and it went down to the wire. Congratulations to Greenline on winning back to back titles. The final standings are as follows: 1st Greenline 144, 2nd Specials 142.
Jackpot Bowls continues next Sunday. Names in by 10am for a 10.30am start.
The club is holding a Chicken and Prawn night on Saturday, March 17.

Yesterday one of the club’s skips Shane Lenon started the bike ride to cycle the 700kms from Ungarie to Melbourne to raise funds to fight MND. Hats off to you Shane and the other Lockhart locals going on the ride.
