After heatwave conditions last year patrons were pleased to welcome milder weather. The weather helped to encourage more than 400 people to pass through the gates.
Meanwhile, the pavillions were full and there were plenty of competitions to showcase local art, craft produce and agricultural exhibits.
Henty Show Society president Warren Dale said he was pleased with the day which had gone off without a hitch.
He commended the exhibitors on the high quality of fleeces, cattle and horses that featured in various competitions.
Mr Dale said it was also heartening that Henty Showgirl Emily Jones would later represent the town and the region in the final of the showgirl competition at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
