In a round played in searing heat that had temperatures reach the forties, it was Osborne who prevailed at home against Henty.
The loss has left Henty out of the top four and, with a bye still to come, the side will need to win at least two of its remaining matches.
Daniel Kennedy was the star for Osborne smashing a super 82 and was part of a century stand with Nick Perryman (48) after Henty won the toss and fielded.
Some good bowling at the death by Henty restricted Osborne to 5/189.
Osborne lost its last four wickets for 14 runs.
Braeden Pantling and Chris Spicer both took two wickets for the Swampies in eight over spells.
Osborne were without the services of Darren Howard and Joe and Ed Perryman.
Henty’s run chase finished 38 runs short finishing 7/151 with two run outs proving costly against the tight bowling of Osborne.
Pantling backed up his good bowling with a quick fire 53 that included one of his two sixes landing on the Osborne clubroom’s roof.
Mark White was steady as usual at the top of the order with 42.
The Swampies were also well below full strength with Chris Manns and Grant Gardiner unavailable.
Like on most occasions this season the Osborne attack shared the workload with Connor Galvin 2/17 and Harry Hugler 2/27.
Nick Perryman was economical with 1/21, along with Clay Galvin and Josh Connellan.
