In one of the most delayed seasons for some time, cricketers get their last chance for action with this week’s round eight being the final before the Christmas break.
Last year’s premiers TRYC lead the ladder on 74, just six points ahead of Henty on 68 with Osborne not far away on 62.
Holbrook 41 and Culcairn 34 are locked into a battle for the final position in the top four, with Culcairn being unlucky with the weather.
The leading run scorer in Division One is Henty veteran Mark White who has compiled 248 runs at an average of 82.67.

Todd Hannam from TRYC has made 156, with Mitch Wickham (Osborne) 119 no and Dylan Fairall (Holbrook) 112 being the only century makers.
Young TRYC quick Michael Driscoll is leading wicket taker with 11.
Culcairn’s Braedon Pantling and Hannam are equal second with eight wickets.

IN DIVISION Two last year’s grand finalist Lockhart and Holbrook are again leading the way equal on top position with 147 points.
The top four looks set with Osborne 129 and Culcairn 90, well clear of Henty on 39 and last placed TRYC with 33.
The leading runs scorer is HDCA secretary/treasurer Stephen Bennett with 160 runs. Daniel Hanckel (Henty) 144 and Scott Lister 134 are close behind.
Lockhart youngster Jordan Renner leads the wicket takers on 13, with three players Sam Rutland (Osborne), Harry Hugler (Osborne) and Brett Starick (Culcairn) all on 10 wickets.
