A Junee man charged with recklessly dealing with proceeds of crime has been granted bail after police spent about two weeks hunting him down.

Ronald James Sinnett, 48, was granted bail in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday following his arrest at Junee on November 7.
Sinnett’s solicitor, Rod Kennedy, told the court his client was almost totally blind and had strong ties within the Junee community.
Police prosecutor Rowen Harris told the court he held concerns Sinnett could fail to appear at future court dates, commit serious offences or interfere with witnesses if granted bail.
“I note the facts of the arrest warrant and the likelihood of a custodial penalty given his record,” Mr Harris said.
“I would ask for a surety as well as reporting.”
Magistrate Alex Mijovich granted Sinnett bail and he is now subject to daily reporting.
A brief of evidence is expected to be served by December 13. No plea has been entered.
