HENTY Buffalos are preparing for their open day on December 10at the Henty Anglican Hall on Day Street from 2pm. There will be a presentation of a film that covers many aspects of the fundraising activities of the organisation. Families are welcome.

A SHORT report on the Men’s Shed’s trip to the Corowa Distillery. Seven members sampled the “stock” and were educated on the techniques of producing the best whiskey. Odd that not much was spoken about the chocolate. The group also managed to visit the Rutherglen Men’s Shed, a pie shop and one winery in a varied day. Being a recent recipient of an Australian Men’s Shed Association Grant, the members are looking to expand storage facilities.
