Murray Group and Albury Evening members took part in Women Walk the World.
There were only a few of them but they had a lot of fun and laughter.
They walked to the markets, bought bread and eggs, and then returned back to the river deck for coffee.
Other branches completed walks in their own local areas.
Association of Country Women of the World is active in over 70 countries, offering women and their communities the chance of a better life with mutual support, friendship and practical help.
Projects, proposed by local societies or communities, may relate to clean water, sanitation, food production, leadership and skill training, nutrition, education, literacy, health, income generating schemes, etc. Projects are monitored and assessed to ensure a successful outcome.
