More than 60,000 people are set to explore the exhibits at this year’s Henty Machinery Field Days (HMFD).
The 105 hectare grounds will be home to more than 850 exhibitors and 1200 sites for the three day event.
Making the most of your time at the field days can be tricky with so much to see, do and buy.
We’ve listed the top tips to make the most of the 2016 event.
ONE: Be prepared for all seasons. Henty is notorious for changing weather, it might be sunny at the start of the day, raining at lunch time and windy in the afternoon.

TWO: Keep a map on you. The entire site spans 105 hectares and there is nothing worse than walking down Farm Avenue instead of Ag Place. Maps are available immediately inside the gates in a purpose-built container.
THREE: Plan your day. With more than 1200 sites you won’t get to see everything if your only there for one day. Map out where the sites are you want to see.
FOUR: Keep an eye on the time of demonstrations and shows so you don’t miss out.

FIVE: Stay hydrated. There are plenty of food outlets which all support local clubs and groups.
SIX: The best bargains are on the last day.
SEVEN: Familiarise yourself with which gate you come into the field days so you remember where you parked and find your way around.

EIGHT: Don’t be afraid to ask anyone with a HMFD hat or shirt on where things are at the site.
“We want you to enjoy the day and we are only too happy to help,” HMFD chairman Ross Edwards said.

While heavy rains have caused some issues across the riverina, Mr Edwards is confident the site will not be impacted.
“We’ve spent a lot of time and money on the drainage at the site and there has not been any flooding at the site at all with the recent heavy rains,” he said.
The field days run for three days from Tuesday September 20 at the site in Henty.

WHERE: Cookardinia Road, Henty NSW 2658 (8km east of Henty).
