Works of art are set to generate thousands of dollars for the Holbrook Rotary Club.
The club has been hosting the event for more than 45 years and last year raised $6000.
“The show is on track for a big exhibit,” art show chairman Milt Golenberg said.
“Artists from southern NSW and north-east Victoria are expected to exhibit.
“Our art and photography show is a notable event in Holbrook and Greater Hume Shire’s calendar.”
Money raised by the club is donated to various community and international programs.
Most of the money raised at last year’s show was donated within the Holbrook community.
Feature artists this year include Bendigo’s Carolyn Marrone and Jenny Nuthall from Binalong.
The art show will kick off on August 26 with opening night and run until September 3.
“It’s a fun night with good company and good food,” Mr Golenberg said.
Mr Golenberg said opening night provides a wonderful informal community event and enables guests to meet and talk with community artists.
