Lockhart’s tourism triumph
Despite the cloud hanging over Lockhart’s biggest festival, two of the town's tourism attractions are set to be awarded.
The Greens Gunyah Museum and the Lockhart Sculpture and Heritage Trail have been named as finalists in the 2016 Regional Tourism Awards.
Both the attractions were finalists in last year’s awards.
The Sculpture and Heritage Trail received an encouragement award.
Winners will be announced at the gala dinner on Saturday July 23 from 6pm.
This year the dinner will be held at the Moama Bowling Club with the theme of “All the Rivers run to Echuca”.
