Henty’s Ed Dale was all beaming as he celebrated five years of his pride and joy, Ed’s Old Farm Machinery.
“It was raining nearly everyday and cold but the people still came,” Mr Dale said.
“It was just fantastic. It’s all helping tourism.”
Visitors came from across NSW and Victoria. The museum started as a small project through his passion for headers and soon turned into a museum to add to Henty’s tourism attractions.
However, the week wasn’t only spent celebrating the museum with his 70th birthday also falling that week.
His wife, Kay, organised a surprise birthday dinner for him in Culcairn with their family.
Despite almost ruining the night by wanting to get to the restaurant early, Mrs Dale was able to pull off the surprise perfectly.
