
Club Championship Triples started on Saturday, June 25, with Keith Wilson, Jim Quee and Stewart Carn playing Max Montgomery, John Franklin and Peter Strong.
After 18 ends only one shot separated the teams only to see Monty’s team loose the next six ends to go down 26 to 24. To their credit Monty’s team scored six on the last two ends.
In the other game, Peter Jenkinson, Colin Ryan and David Flynn played Jason Healy, Steve Johnstone and Keith Bender.
This game was never in doubt with Jason’s team winning 38 to 16 although Peter’s team jumped out to an early 5 to 3 lead.
Next week, Jason Healy’s team will play Barry Love’s team and the winner then playing Keith Wilson’s team in the final.
Sally Matthews and Peter Jenkinson travelled to Wagga to play in the mixed pairs, loosing by five shots.
