St Paul’s School plan to conclude their athletics carnival on Friday, weather permitting. With only the field events to wrap up, it is hoped that event at Henty Showgrounds will be held in good weather. Joseph Muller and Zac Klemke recently competed in the CIS Cross Country event in Sydney. They can be proud of their achievements in a large field of over 90 competitors.

THE cement pour at the Henty Swimming pool went ahead in the rain. Numerous cement trucks and two large concrete pumps were used on Tuesday last week. Countless workers attended the pour. I’m sure all will be ready for this coming summer.

TAYLOR Clark is to attend a football clinic on the Sunshine Coast, representing NSW under 15s Australian Football League. The trip is quite expensive and Taylor is conducting a number of fundraising initiatives. These are state trials and for a Henty boy to be chosen is a significant event for the family and extended family.
If anyone would like to support a Henty lad in sporting excellence, contact Taylor on 0417 623 395 (Michelle) or 0428 622 504 (Darren).
