LOCKHART Football Netball Club has been broken into and ransacked for the second time this year.
According to police, thieves gained entry into the clubhouse in the early hours of Sunday morning after forcing the front door’s locks.
Once inside, offenders smashed a glass refrigerator door to steal bottles of beer and spirits from the club.
Acting inspector Phil Malligan said no-one has been arrested yet and police are currently conducting investigations into the incident.
The public are also being called on to provide any information. The break-in is now the second incident the club has had to deal with this year. In April police arrested and charged three people for an earlier break, enter and steal at the clubhouse after tip offs from the community.
