Roberts hits 44 to win stableford
Sunday’s comp was a stableford, playing for Ryan and Jenisha’s Caltex trophy. The winner was Michael Roberts with a great score of 44 points. Runner-up was Rino Feltrin with 39. Other scores were Bruce Carboon 38, Stuart Lowe 35, John Scott and Cameron Wood on 34, and Lillie Scott and Heather Lowe coming up the rear. Rino Feltrin won Nearest the pin on the third.
Eight golfers played the first round of match play golf and the four winners going through to the next round are Michael Roberts, Bruce Carboon, Cameron Wood and Heather Lowe.
