Justin Coxhead’s car stopped people in their tracks at the antique car rally in Burrumbuttock – and so it should, being one of only five of its kind in Australia.

Mr Coxhead, of Bright, joined about 150 other car enthusiasts to raise money for the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners on Sunday.
Mr Coxhead had his 1921 Vauxhall E Type 30-98 on display.

“We’ve had it for 72 years – my father bought it in 1994 and he used to compete in it back in the ‘40s and ‘50s,” he said.
“My dad was a founding member of the car Vintage Sports Car Club of Victoria.
“When dad passed away I took the car over and I’ve had it for some seven years now.
“My car had a bit of interest, being what it is – it’s always good for a chat.
“We enjoyed it – of course it was a good cause too.”
Antique Car Club of Albury-Wodonga Club secretary John Schuurman said the event raised $3500 for the hay runners.
“We were very satisfied with the turnout,” he said.
