Bowl down to the wire
After the Easter break, bowlers travelled to Wagga to play RSL with two rinks going down to the wire.
Jason Healy won 20-9; Keith Wilson went down 18-21 while Barry Love won 26-19. The overall win was 64-59 A great effort.
Lockhart are at home to Junee and Rules Club over the following weeks.
Diggers Day will be held on Sunday, April 17. Any player wishing to play please put your name on the board at the club.
Tim Wilson has had to retire from Bowls due to a nagging hip problem. Tim had been playing great bowls and will be missed.
Sunday “Jackpot” Bowls saw two games played, one of them was a draw the other 16-14. A great battle was had between Simone Chandler and her daughter Meg. Both girls played great bowls.
