Local landcare work is set to be improved in Holbrook with the addition of a new coordinator.
Paula Sheehan is joining the team at the Holbrook Landcare Network in a part-time role.
With more than 20 years experience in natural resource management, she has also taken on a second part-time role with the Petaurus Education Group.
The role is designed to build and support the community networks across the region.
The position was created as part of the $15 million Local Landcare Coordinators Initiative and will be in place for three-and-a-half-years.
