THE annual The Rock Metroll Triathlon is being held on Sunday, February 28.
Events can be completed in teams (groups of three completing a leg each).
Registration on the day opens from 7am.
Open triathlon $40, tri-triathlon $20, junior triathlon (16 & under) $15, sub junior triathlon (all ages) $10 and walk-a-thon $5.

World Day of Prayer
FRIDAY, March 4 St Mary’s Catholic Church Lockhart presents World Day of Prayer – Cuba at 10.30am.
In the evening The Rock Central P&C present a family movie night at The Rock Central School oval.
Gates open at 6.30pm with the movie starting at 8pm.
Gold class VIP seating available for ($20 pre-paid tickets available from the school office) which includes front row seats, cheese and biscuit platters, choc top ice-cream and popcorn all served by friendly wait staff.
General admission is $5 with tickets available at the gate.
There will be a sausage sizzle, popcorn, slushies and drinks available (strictly no alcohol).
BYO picnic blankets, pillows, bean bags & folding chairs.

Big Hero 6
SUNDAY, March 6 Lockhart Ex-Servicemen’s Club presents the children’s movie, Big Hero 6, starting at 4pm.
A movie pack costs $8, which includes movie, snack pack and drink.
Sculpture dragon
LOCKHART Sculpture Trail Rain Dragon now greets travellers from The Rock and Albury after it was relocated to the corner of Brookong and East streets.
Rusty Cocky the 2015 National Farm Art Sculpture Award winner is now on display at the front of the caravan park.
The Spirit of the Land Kangaroos donated by the Lockhart & District Community Bank are now permanently secured by the lagoon and Inland Pelicans by Bob Teasdale has been installed in the newly landscaped EE ‘Curly Heckendorf Memorial garden at Hodgson Park.
