BEV Bahr left her wallet on the car boot when she was preparing to come into Henty along the Cookardinia Road.
The wallet was searched for; a re-enactment was tried but, to no vail.
Local policeman, Daryl, heading out of town on the same road on another matter, spied the wallet and it was returned.
The wallet had clung on for 7kms until losing its grip just outside the McKay’s property. Good eyes, Daryl.

A good heart
MICHELLE David (Elaine Lutze’s Daughter) recently put this on Facebook. “A big shout out to Chris Willis who I met this evening. He saw Mum out the front mowing; he stopped and finished the yard for Mum not even knowing her. Chris Willis you are an amazing young man. Thank you!”
