Trav’s Butchery in the sleepy town of Henty was selected to fill the order of 155 steaks at 230 grams each.
Owner of the butchery, Trav Kilo cut each steak himself taking around two and a half hours.
The job came about after he was starting to organise catering for his own wedding.
A local Henty girl, Karralee Meyer, works for Tessa’s Kitchen and Catering, a large catering company based in Canberra.
It was then the company actually employed him to fill an order of 400 lamb cutlets for a different wedding.
“They liked the job we did on the first wedding and then asked for a quote, they liked the quote so I got the job,” Mr Kilo said.
