Thirty-nine members and four visitors were welcomed by president Eleanor.
A minute's silence was observed in memory of the late Graham Booth of Henty.
Final arrangements were made for the upcoming trip to the Bonegilla Migrant Museum Exhibition.
As the day's five-minute speaker, Alison Schuster recounted an incident where bushranger Dan Morgan demanded supplies and threatened workers on Mittagong Station.
The property had been purchased by Alison's father in 1929. In his haste to get away Morgan left behind a gun and lavish gun case that bore the initials DM.
Les Dale, the day's guest speaker, gave a report on events that had helped shape Henty from 1950 through to 2017.
Les believes that the building of the swimming pool was one of the major assets to Henty.
The December meeting of the club will be held at Henty Community Club on Wednesday, December 13.
This function will take the form of a luncheon and Christmas celebration commencing at 11 am.
The cost of the luncheon is $20.
For bookings phone Alison Schuster on 6929 3313 or Diane Allitt on 6029 8475 before December 6.
