A routine vehicle stop by Goulburn Highway Patrol has netted $10,000 cash and 2.9 grams of methamphetamine.

Police say a grey Holden ute travelling north on the Hume Highway was stopped by police near Goulburn around 7.40pm on Saturday October 21.
A search of the vehicle was conducted with $10,000 cash found in a door panel, and approximately 2.9 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of over $1,000, on the female passenger
The driver, a 37-year-old man from Coolamon was issued with an infringement notice for 'Tow vehicle with unsecured load.'
His 32-year-old female passenger from The Rock was issued with a Court Attendance Notice for 'Possess prohibited drug' and 'Possess Equipment for the Administration of a Prohibited Drug.'
She will appear before the Goulburn Local Court on 15/11/2017.
Wagga Crime Manager Darren Cloake said he is pleased drugs and a large amount of cash has been located from a vehicle stop.
“If that cash has any connection with a criminal offence then those responsible will face losing their money and more, as well as facing serious criminal charges.
“We have seen the devastating effect of drugs upon our community.
“Any disruption of these illicit drugs is certainly welcomed by the Wagga Wagga Command,” Detective Inspector Cloake said.
