NEW signage will allow the Henty and Holbrook swimming pools to be referred to using the word ‘memorial.’
A former motion was rescinded was at the Greater Hume Shire Council and it was stated that the name ‘memorial’ would remain in the official naming.
Storyboard signage will be installed onsite to chronicle the history of each pool, including the community participation and contribution in its establishment and dedication as a war memorial so that the history of the original pools is not lost.
