BREAK AWAY: There's no golf for the Henty ladies this week.

FOOTBALL finals depleted the number of golfers at Henty on Saturday with only five participating in a stroke round for the Golf Club Trophy. The winner was Peter Skeers with a nett score of 67, ball comp winners were Stuart Davidson, Neil Parker, Jason Morey and Colin Barrett. Next Saturday will be a hat draw for an ambrose event,so golfers turn up for a fun day.

LADIES: There were only five brave ladies who played the last 18 holes of the year last Thursday. It was a stableford event and the winner of the day was Carole Singe with 39 points. NTP on the 13th Kathy Maloney

Newsagency Award went to Sandy Newton. Carole Singe fired for 17 holes but "bombed"out on the 18th. Heather Beattie had four pars with two gobblers

Jane Yates tried out her new club and fired after the first nine holes. Wacko next year.

Kathy Maloney had a good first nine holes but landed into all the drains on the course.

No golf next week.
