Four visitors were welcomed by President Eleanor who also welcomed and inducted new member, Ruth Humphries.
Joan Pitson read a short poem and President Eleanor presented an article on the amazing survival of both humans and animals following a massive mud slide after prolonged heavy rain.
Three members from the Intereach team based in Albury addressed the group making members aware of what services are available to help keep seniors living in their own homes.
Some of the topics touched on were carer respite, flexible support areas, social justice, home modification, Meals on Wheels and dealing with depression and anxiety.
The next meeting of the Henty/Culcairn Probus Club will be at the Henty Community Club on Wednesday September, 13 at 10am.
