Last Thursday, seven ladies played for the Barossa Trophy and was it close.
Linda Coombes won with 38 1/3 points closely followed by Jane Yates who was only 1/3 of a shot behind. NTP on the 13th Kathy Maloney.
No NTP for the A Graders because The captain was "consoling" Carole Singe on the 7th. That dam again!
Newsagency Award went to Jane Yates. for nearly winning the Barossa Trophy and also because Jane has trouble reading the NTP sign. Wrong pin Jane!
Three ladies played nine holes and the winner was Connie Ross again with 31.5.
NTP on the 15th Ellen Pratt. Ellen had a par gobbler on the 17th and Sandy Newton had a gobbler on the second hole.
The dam on the 7th bought Carole Singe, Sandy Newton and Linda Coombes a lot of trouble again.
The crow saw Sandy coming and claimed her ball again on the 6th.
On Saturday 64 ladies played in the Riverina Sand Greens Tournament.
Henty had two winners on the day. Heather Beattie Handicap Division 2 and Scratch r/up Division 2. Alison Campbell won Scratch Division 1 and r/up Division 1.
