Yates in winning ways with 38
THERE were only eight lady golfers last Thursday and six played for the Golf Course Improvement Day and it was a close contest.
The winner was Jane Yates with 38, closely followed by Sandy Newton and Kathy Maloney both with 37. NTP 13th Kathy Maloney.
In the nine hole competition, Connie Ross won with 21. No more nine holes Connie, only 18!
NTP on the 8th second shot went to Ellen Pratt.
Newsagency award went to Linda Coombes because Linda didn't yell loud enough to scare the crow that took Jane Yates ball on the 14
th
.

Thursday’s competition is for the Barossa Trophy. This is the most sort after trophy we have.
Then on the Saturday, Henty is hosting the Riverina Sandgreens.
