The winner of the day was Sandy Newton with a nett 63 and Sandy won the Golf Course Improvement Award too. Well done Sandy.
NTP on the 15th Carole Singe.
The Nine holes competition went to wait for it Connie Ross. Nett 31 1/2 That's four in a row. If you were a race horse they would swab you. But well done to you Connie

Out on the course the play of the day had to go to Sandy Newton with the 63 nett and that included a 9 on the 6th. Keep it up Sandy.
Jane Yates tried so hard to land in the water on two occasions but the little ball just didn't want to get wet. Lucky for you Jane.
Linda Coombes, Marlene Sheers and Carole Singe all liked the no nine strokes for quite a few holes.
Kathy Maloney had a great round of golf 101 off the stick. You won't have to call NRMA anymore Kathy the Buggy that Carole has it has a tow rope in it
The Pennant team last week at Howlong had a 5/0 against them but once again they proved that if you can't play golf we can play Keno" They had another win.
The "Gambling Team" is Alison Campbell, Heather Beattie, Jane Yates, Sandy Newton, and Linda Coombes. They play at Wagga City against Thurgoona. Good luck ladies.
Tomorrow is the second round of the Presidents Trophy. Henty Evening CWA Group is holding the Biggest Afternoon Tea, after golf. 9am for a 9.30am hit off, 10.30am for the Nine Holers.
