WE HAD our Christmas luncheon at Gapsted Winery and here we presented our most highly respected, admired and committed member of Jindera CWA, Olivia Hanel, with a Branch Life Membership.
Olivia's enthusiasm for and dedication to CWA and its ideals is obvious by the offices she has held at both branch and group level.
She is a gentle and encouraging person to all, making newcomers feel most welcome and she is a fount of wisdom in all aspects of CWA and its aims and objectives.
In her 37 years of membership Olivia has proved totally worthy of this honour.
Members will be busy over Anzac Day as Jindera Branch has been asked to cater for the breakfast at the Albury Anzac Day morning service and some will have to be at Jindera to be ready for the morning tea after the Jindera service.
The Land Cookery Day was held March 1 - being well represented by our members - in preparation of group.
