The couple who run Almondvale Poll and White Suffolk Stud helped to convene the conference which featured speakers from various sections of the industry.
Mr Routley said there was an array of topics covered ranging from mental health issues in rural areas through to the promising growth for the red meat industry.
Mr Routley is the president of the NSW White Suffolk Breeders group and said the two-day event was highly successful.
“It went off brilliantly and the speakers were well received,” he said.
Meanwhile, a charity auction featuring donated items helped to raise $3200 for the charity Riverina Bluebell.
