At about 3.30pm, travellers on the southbound service were told the train had suffered an air-conditioning fault and would remain at Henty station.
There was no air-conditioning and the train’s toilets were inaccessible.
After almost two hours, the passengers were loaded onto buses and transported to Wagga.
