The Henty Field Days are a great asset for the Henty and district community as it allows various community organisations, schools and sporting organisations to raise funds.
A highlight of the event is the positive attitude displayed by many volunteers. The team work and experience was highlighted in the community catering shed where young and old, male and female work tirelessly to ensure that their customers were receiving first class meals ranging from the ever reliable sausage sandwich to chicken and noodles.
Long live the volunteer and the opportunity for community organisations in the Henty district to benefit financially from the great event. -Terese McInerney
