Oliver Killalea of “Killandayle” Holbrook was the buyer of the top-priced Poll Dorset ram for $3000 and Corey Beckett of Pleasant Hills was a volume buyer for the Poll Dorsets.
Stud principal, Mark Yates said he was thrilled with the overall result.
The average for the autumn drop Poll Dorsets was $1561 and the spring drop returned an average of $1440. In contrast the autumn drop White Suffolks averaged $1342 and the spring drop averaged $1381.
