MCUE co-coach Travis Cohalan is happy with where his team is placed with nine rounds remaining.
“We’re very happy to be six (wins) and two (losses). If you said at the start of the year that you would be six and two at the halfway mark, we definitely would have taken that,” Cohalan said.
“But in saying that, we have a lot of improvement required to beat the teams like obviously Wagga Tigers, they are a clear benchmark.”
Wagga Tigers will take a two game lead into the second half of the season and look almost unbeatable at the point.
Cohalan concedes they are the benchmark.
“At the moment, they are definitely a cut above,” he said.
“They’re out and front and the rest of us are going to have to work extremely hard to catch them.”
