One newcomer to town found the outdoor exercise station at Sweetwater Village and had invited a friend to accompany her to the community equipment. It good to see the equipment finally being used.

Doodle Comer “Aboriginal Place Nomination” report provides details of some of Henty’s early recorded history and much more on Henty’s history prior to European settlement. A copy of the report is currently held by Henty and District Historical Society.
Back from places far to the north is David Smith. David had a fortnight with family in Cairns; his brother and sister-in-law. It was a true trains, planes and automobile trip for David.
Henty’s Lifestyle Centre continues to acquire items towards its community gymnasium and indoor exercise and sports centre. The centre has a comprehensive range of exercise equipment and has a basic range of boxing gear. It is still hoped that the gym will be ready sometime after June this year depending if funding for the rubberised floor can be sourced.
Henty and District Historical Society will shortly being interviews and photographing a range of items associated with Henty’s history. After an absence of some months the video and audio unit at the Headlie Taylor Museum is back operating. Some damage had occurred and a reconfiguration of the small computer that runs the program has the video running smoothly again.
