The team of J Coote, E Scholz, K Bahr and L Forck came out on top after their three games and the team of B Davidson, S Ritchie, J Uebergang and E Male were runners up. A great day was had by all.

Their Club Singles start this week, this being the premier event of the Club matches, it is a keenly sought after title. A full run down of first round matches will be next week. There will also be Social Bowls tomorrow, Thursday January 9, names to be in by 9.30am for a 10am start.

District Four's start next week and they have four teams entered, good luck to everyone. The District Triples will be in a couple of weeks and the Henty Club will be hosting these so it would be great to see plenty of local teams entered.

Sunday Afternoon Mixed Social Bowls is back on, names to be in by 3.30pm for a 4pm start. A date to mark on your calendar is Sunday February 16 for Red Cross Day, this is always a great day bowls wise and also a good fundraiser for a very worthy cause.

A reminder to all committee members, there is a meeting after bowls tomorrow.
