The fight for the 2007/08 Holbrook and DCA premiership starts this weekend following the completion of the home and away season last week.
TRYC finished as minor premiers after a tremendous comeback against Holbrook, who looked to have the Blues gone for all money in a thrilling finish.
Chasing the Brookers first day total of 174, TRYC overcame a top order and middle order batting collapse to recover in great fashion to win with two wickets to spare.
The win was piloted by veteran batsman Keith Jolliffe who batted superbly and was unlucky not to complete a century; finishing 98 not out at stumps.
Jolliffe came to the crease with TRYC in dire trouble having crashed to 5/40, with its first three batsmen all failing to score against some fiery bowling by Nathan Morton and Steven Taylor.
The only two other TRYC batsman to make double figures were Mick Williams with a streaky 55 and Warren Price 37, Price along with Jolliffe added almost a century stand for the seventh wicket.
Holbrooks’ bowling was excellent with Morton finishing with 4/42, Taylor 3/35 and Alex Ross 2/29. Unfortunately the catching was dreadful with eight chances going to ground.
Culcairn ensured itself the double chance by easily accounting for Osborne and have set up a second semi final meeting at Yerong Creek this weekend against TRYC.
